AC Milan have decided to entrust Ruben Amorim with defining the team's technical needs, indicating which departments need reinforcement, and specifying the required qualities and ideal profiles to improve the squad. His indications will form the basis of future market strategies. This approach will be supported by the scouting department and data analysis team, who will select players that fit the coach's requirements, considering economic sustainability.
Amorim will work alongside a strategic committee composed of Gerry Cardinale, Almstadt, Gardiner, Calvelli, and Castelblanco, a member of the club's Board of Directors. Zlatan Ibrahimovic will also continue to offer his expertise as Senior Advisor. This new setup aims to streamline the club's decision-making process and improve collaboration between key figures.
The club's market strategy may also involve Jorge Mendes, a prominent agent with strong connections to Amorim. Mendes' influence could be crucial in negotiations for potential targets, such as Gonçalo Ramos and Hjulmand, who are reportedly on Milan's radar. The two players are valued at around 60 million euros.
This new approach signals a significant shift in Milan's football operations, with Amorim playing a central role in shaping the team's future.
