AC Milan's youth sector has experienced a mixed bag of results in the recent season. The Under 15 team stood out as a bright spot, winning the Italian championship with Jadid, a player born in 2011, playing a key role. He spent most of the year playing with the 2010 group before returning to his age group at the end of the season under coach Parolo.

The Primavera team, however, struggled, finishing 11th out of 20 teams, a significant 10 points away from the last playoff spot. Other teams, such as the Under 16, Under 17, and Under 18, also had disappointing results, with the Under 17 being eliminated in the group stage without any players being called up to the national team.

Despite the team's struggles, there are encouraging signs from individual players. The Primavera squad has a strong core of young players born in 2008, including Bouyer, Borsani, Cisse, Cullotta, Vincent Ibrahimovic, Plazzotta, and Tartaglia, who have all gained significant playing time. Petrone, a 2009-born player, also made five appearances.

The performances of these young players offer a positive outlook for AC Milan's future, but there are concerns about the club's approach to developing its youth talent. The club's policy of promoting young players to the first team has been inconsistent, and there is a risk that talented players may not be given the opportunity to grow and develop quickly enough.
