AC Milan's new era under Gerry Cardinale is starting to take shape. The Rossoneri owner has chosen a new organizational structure, inspired by the successful model of Liverpool, where Cardinale was a significant shareholder. The new setup will feature a slimmed-down team with well-defined roles, working together in a cohesive unit. Cardinale will be at the helm, with a team of experienced professionals supporting him.

The sporting side of the club will be led by Hendrik Almstadt, who will oversee player trading and transfers. He will be supported by Bobby Gardiner, promoted to director of Football Intelligence, and Donato Lomonte, who will supervise scouting activities. An additional role, Head of Recruitment Analysis, is also set to be filled. This new team will work closely with the upcoming coach, Ruben Amorim, to identify top talent.

On the administrative side, Massimo Calvelli will take on the role of CEO, while David Castelblanco, Cardinale's right-hand man at RedBird, will provide support. Zlatan Ibrahimovic will continue as a consultant to the ownership group. Paolo Scaroni will remain as club president, and Jovan Kirovski will continue to oversee the development of young players.

The new structure is designed to bring a more streamlined and efficient approach to the club, with a focus on collaboration and clear communication. With these key roles filled, AC Milan is poised to make a strong push in the upcoming season.
