Milan, which free agent suits you?

Among the various forwards, the name of Mauro Icardi stands out. The Argentine knows Serie A and Italy perfectly, given his previous experience at Inter, but his priority would be to continue playing in the Champions League.

Mahrez is also an intriguing name. After his spell with Al-Alhi, the Algerian player is evaluating his future and has not ruled out a return to Europe. However, the financial feasibility of the move will need to be assessed.

The riskiest name, instead, is the French Paul Pogba. Monaco recently terminated its relationship with the midfielder after a spell plagued by numerous physical problems. The America option, in MLS, currently appears one of the most concrete routes.

Finally, Jadon Sancho emerges, perhaps the most intriguing profile regarding age and characteristics. At 26, the Englishman is without a club after an unremarkable season at Aston Villa. Recent years have been far from the player seen wearing the Borussia Dortmund shirt, but his age leaves open the possibility of a revival. The list also includes several Italians: Francesco Acerbi, Matteo Darmian, Cagno, Castrovilli and Gabbiadini.

The right option

From a tactical point of view, Sancho could fit very comfortably into Amorim's system as one of the two players behind the striker, increasing unpredictability in the final third. With zero transfer fee and a sustainable salary, it would be a gamble that Milan could consider making.
