Franco Baresi continues to live in the memory and stories of his former teammates. Remembering the historic captain was Filippo Galli, who with the number 6 shared the dressing room for 13 long seasons between 1983 and 1996.

Milan, Galli remembers Baresi

Guest at the Milan Club Valmadrera (LC) to present his new book "Il mio calcio eretico", Galli used these words to pay tribute to Baresi’s memory:

"One look was enough". It is with these words that many of his old teammates remember him. One look was enough to understand what to do, to make everyone understand that it was time to raise the bar. Never raising his voice: a rare gift of silent leaders, which has always been recognised in Baresi and today remains etched in the eternal memory of the rossonero people.
