AC Milan's Sport Development Director Jovan Kirovski has passed the exam of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), earning the qualification for the role of Director of Sports.

Kirovski's achievement could potentially grant him new operational powers within the club. However, this qualification does not imply a change in his role or a promotion to the first team. As Sport Development Director, he will continue to focus on AC Milan's subsidiary team, Milan Futuro, without excluding potential interventions in support of the first team.

Kirovski joined AC Milan in 2024 on the recommendation of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to manage the Rossoneri's second team. He has faced several adaptation challenges in the Italian football landscape. Despite the first team's relegation to Serie D in his first year and the failure to secure promotion in the subsequent season, Gerry Cardinale has reaffirmed his trust in Kirovski's work following the June 2023 directorial changes.

Prior to his career as a director, Kirovski was a professional footballer, playing for teams such as Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United. He also collected 62 caps with the United States national team, scoring 9 goals.

Kirovski's achievement reflects AC Milan's commitment to developing its staff and creating new opportunities for growth within the club.

**Contract Details**: Kirovski's new qualification does not imply a change in his contract or salary. He will continue to hold the position of Sport Development Director at AC Milan.
