AC Milan are on the hunt for a technically gifted trequartista who can excel in one-on-one situations and has room for growth. Coach Ruben Amorim has requested reinforcements in this position, following the likes of Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila. The Rossoneri are evaluating two top talents: Kerim Alajbegovic of Bayer Leverkusen and Konstantinos Karetsas of Genk.

Alajbegovic was recommended by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was impressed by his performance at the World Cup with Bosnia. The young forward had an excellent loan spell at Red Bull Salzburg and would cost around €25m. Karetsas, on the other hand, has a higher price tag of at least €35m but appears to be Milan's top target.

The Rossoneri believe Karetsas has the potential to become a future champion and are willing to invest in him now to avoid missing out. Contacts with Genk are expected next week to assess the feasibility of this deal, particularly from a financial standpoint. Milan are weighing their options, considering factors such as cost and long-term potential.

The club's pursuit of a trequartista is gaining momentum, with Alajbegovic and Karetsas emerging as top candidates. Eintracht Frankfurt's Can Uzun is also on the radar, but his €50m price tag makes him a less likely target.
