AC Milan are monitoring Joao Palhinha as a potential midfield reinforcement. The Portuguese defensive midfielder, who played for Sporting CP under coach Ruben Amorim, is currently on Bayern Munich's radar. Benfica are also keen on signing Palhinha, with a reported offer of €25m.

Palhinha, 190cm tall, is known for his imposing presence and ability to disrupt opposition attacks. Amorim is believed to be seeking a 'balancer' for his 3-4-2-1 formation, which would allow him to utilize Palhinha's skills. The player's market value is estimated to be around €15m.

During his loan spell at Tottenham, Palhinha made 45 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing three assists. With Bayern Munich looking to offload him, Milan see an opportunity to strengthen their midfield. Amorim's familiarity with Palhinha could give Milan an edge in the pursuit.

The Rossoneri are yet to make an official move, but their interest in Palhinha is clear. With Morten Hjulmand reportedly heading to Atletico Madrid, Palhinha has emerged as a prime target for Milan's midfield overhaul.
