AC Milan are actively working on strengthening their squad for the upcoming season, with a focus on bolstering their defence and attack. According to market expert Daniele Longo, the Rossoneri are close to securing the signing of Gila, who is currently undergoing medical tests.

The club is also eyeing a new defender, with Inacio of Sporting still on their radar, particularly if Fikayo Tomori were to leave, bringing in around 15 million euros. Longo suggests that Milan's new approach involves more direct involvement from the coach and ownership in player selection, marking a departure from past strategies.

In terms of attacking reinforcements, Longo believes Milan are looking for a player who can operate as an external attacker or attacking midfielder, capable of creating numerical superiority and providing assists.

Karetsas is reportedly the preferred target, having been scouted by Milan in late February and fitting the club's required profile.
