AC Milan's summer transfer business is heating up with a potential swoop for Serbian striker Dušan Vlahović. The 23-year-old is currently a free agent after Juventus failed to agree on a contract extension.
Vlahović's profile still boasts an impressive tally of 10 goals and 2 assists from a troubled last season. The idea of pairing him with Gonçalo Ramos, who was signed for €74 million from PSG, is tempting for the Rossoneri management.
However, any deal can only happen under specific conditions. The Milan hierarchy is unwilling to meet Vlahović's previous wage demands of €8 million net per annum, plus bonuses and agent fees.
A move could gain traction if Vlahović remains unsigned and willing to take a pay cut to around €4-5 million net plus bonuses, and only then might Milan make a decisive move.
