AC Milan's Pervis Estupiñan is set to leave the club just a year after joining from Villarreal. The Ecuadorian full-back never truly established himself at San Siro, making 22 appearances and scoring one goal, the winner in the Derby della Madonnina against Inter.

Estupiñan's potential exit has attracted interest from both England and Spain. Aston Villa have already made an enquiry with Milan to understand the terms of a possible deal. Deportivo La Coruña, recently promoted to LaLiga, are also evaluating a move for the 24-year-old.

A fee of around €12m is believed to be enough to secure Estupiñan's services. The defender has previously played for Granada, Almería, Mallorca, Osasuna, and Villarreal in Spain.

Estupiñan's first season with Milan did not pan out as expected, with him losing his starting spot to young Davide Bartesaghi.
