AC Milan has emerged as a leading contender to sign Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus in the current transfer window. The Brazilian forward is reportedly available for transfer after Arsenal decided to sell him to avoid losing him for free in 2027. Milan has already made initial contact with Arsenal to explore the possibility of signing Jesus.

The Gunners are looking to sell Jesus for around £20 million (approximately €23-25 million). From a technical standpoint, Jesus's profile fits well with new Milan coach Rúben Amorim's playing style. Jesus is a modern, mobile striker with excellent associative skills, capable of playing as an atypical central reference or as an insertable attacking midfielder.

However, the major obstacle to completing the deal is Jesus's salary. He currently earns a significant £265,000 per week (equivalent to over €14 million gross per year) at Arsenal. To make the transfer work, Jesus may need to accept a significant pay cut or Arsenal may need to consider alternative transfer arrangements.

Milan faces competition from Atlético Madrid, Juventus, and some wealthy Turkish clubs, but the Rossoneri are reportedly leading the chase.
