AC Milan are set to make significant changes in their midfield department this summer. Following the reinforcement of their attack and defense, the Rossoneri are expected to make some moves in the midfield area. Ismael Bennacer, who had been on loan at Dinamo Zagreb, will terminate his contract with Milan and start a new adventure in Qatar with Al-Shamal SC.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, whose contract expires in 2027, is not part of new coach Ruben Amorim's plans and could return to the Premier League. Coventry City and other clubs have shown interest in the English midfielder, with Milan setting an asking price of €10m. Meanwhile, Warren Bondo, who returned from his loan at Cremonese, is also not considered a good fit for Amorim's tactical system, with a price tag of €8m.

The future of other midfielders is also uncertain, with Samuele Ricci and Ardon Jashari being considered for departure. Ricci, who cost around €25m last summer, failed to impress and has been linked to Atalanta and Atletico Madrid. Jashari, who was signed for €34m plus bonuses, has had a tough first season due to injuries and the presence of Luka Modric. Atalanta are interested in both players, but Milan will only consider offers that meet their valuation.

On the other hand, Yunus Musah, who is returning from his loan at Atalanta, has a good chance of staying at Milan. Amorim wants to evaluate him during the summer preparations, as he could be useful in midfield and on the wing.
