AC Milan had been closely linked with PSV's Ismael Saibari in recent months, with Igli Tare and Massimiliano Allegri working to bring the young Moroccan to San Siro next season. The Rossoneri had reportedly set up a deal to sign Saibari, but with Tare and Allegri's departure, the move has fallen through.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder was highly regarded by Milan's former management, who saw potential in him to bolster their squad. However, with the change in leadership, it seems the club has lost out on the talented youngster.
Bayern Munich has swooped in to secure Saibari's signature, reportedly paying around 55 million euros to PSV. This move will undoubtedly strengthen the German side's attacking options.
Milan fans will be disappointed to see Saibari join a rival club, but the Rossoneri will need to focus on identifying and signing new targets to enhance their squad for the upcoming season.
