AC Milan are confident in their pursuit of Morten Hjulmand, a Danish midfielder currently with Sporting Lisbon. The 24-year-old has already spoken with Milan's coach and is open to a transfer. Hjulmand's valuation stands at around 35 million euros, a figure agreed upon with Sporting's president to facilitate a sale this summer.
Milan are planning a swift move to outmaneuver Atletico Madrid, who are also monitoring Hjulmand's situation. However, the Spanish club is currently focused on strengthening their defense, giving Milan a significant advantage in negotiations. The Rossoneri have been in constant contact with Hjulmand's coach, Ruben Amorim, to accelerate the deal.
In addition to Hjulmand, Milan are eyeing other targets, including Pedro Gonçalves, a Portuguese winger valued between 25 and 30 million euros. The club's strategy involves leveraging their connections with Gonçalves's agent, Jorge Mendes, who also represents Gonçalo Ramos, a PSG striker and Milan's primary target for the center-forward position.
Milan's transfer plans are progressing, with the club aiming to secure key signings before the start of the new season. The Rossoneri are optimistic about their chances of landing Hjulmand and other top targets.
