AC Milan are set to hold firmly onto Christian Pulisic despite interest from other clubs, including Roma and City Group who are looking to make him a key player for New York City FC. Pulisic has started his World Cup campaign strongly, providing an assist and delivering an impressive performance in the first half against Paraguay before being substituted due to a minor physical issue. His recent form has sparked attention from several clubs, but Milan have no intention of letting him go.
Pulisic's value to Milan is significant, with his price tag potentially reaching 60 million euros, and with a World Cup performance at this level, his value is only expected to increase. The club's plans for the future involve keeping Pulisic at the center of their new project under the guidance of the new coach, likely to be Paulo Amorim, who favors an aggressive 3-4-3 formation that suits Pulisic's playing style.
Amorim's tactical approach is expected to get the best out of Pulisic, allowing him to play in his preferred position as an attacking winger, either on the right or left flank. This is a departure from the 3-5-2 formation used by Massimiliano Allegri, which often limited Pulisic's effectiveness as an atypical first striker.
Milan are also set to activate the option to extend Pulisic's contract until 2028, further securing his future at the club and making it difficult for other teams to lure him away.
