Former AC Milan player Filippo Galli has shared his thoughts on the club's recent signings, praising the arrivals of Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila. Galli believes Ramos can bring double-digit goal contributions to the team, while Gila's defensive skills and ability to start attacks from the back will be crucial in implementing new coach Ruben Amorim's tactics.
Galli also highlighted areas where the team may still need strengthening, particularly on the left flank, where Estupinan has been underwhelming and Bartesaghi has shown promise but may not be the long-term solution. He suggested that Adrien Rabiot could potentially play on the left wing in a 3-4-2-1 formation.
The signings of Ramos and Gila have been seen as important statements of intent from the club's ownership, with Gerry Cardinale backing the team with significant investment. However, Galli emphasized that the real test of the team's progress will come in the upcoming season.
Amorim's tactics and the performances of existing players, including Rafael Leao, will also play a crucial role in determining the team's success.
