AC Milan will face Lecce tomorrow in their final game before the international break and three points are a must.

After the loss to Benfica and the draw to Lazio, Milan are desperate for a response. Gerry Cardinale will be in attendance once again and he wants to see a win with clear improvements. Indeed, the American wants to see a clear starting XI, with a much better first half. Hopefully, the two are interlinked.

Milan-Lecce: Expected line-up

This evening, MilanNews have provided their expected XI for Sunday’s clash and the defence sees no changes. So, Mike Maignan starts, with Mario Gila, Koni De Winter and Strahinja Pavlovic ahead of him.

In midfield, there are several changes, with only Samuel Chukwueze retaining his spot. In midfield, Adrien Rabiot returns with Luka Modric alongside him. Then, Diego Moreira will start at wing-back on the left.

Ahead of them, Christian Pulisic starts and hopes to end what will be a 10-month San Siro drought, whilst Alphadjo Cisse is expected to remain on the left. Finally, Goncalo Ramos will aim for his first goal since the win against Venezia.

Now, for those who have read his pre-match press conference, yes, it is the same XI as was suggested by a journalist this afternoon.

It’ll be interesting to see if there are any changes late on, with the report suggesting that Alexis Saelemaekers could contest for Cisse’s spot and Pervis Estupinan may compete with Moreira. Right now, though, this is the expected XI.
