AC Milan's pursuit of Markus Krosche as their new director has hit a roadblock. The German director and his collaborator Timmo Hardung were in advanced talks with the Rossoneri, but Eintracht Frankfurt has refused to let them leave. The club's decision to reject Milan's request was due to their own preparations for the upcoming season.
The setback marks another failed attempt by Milan to revamp their management team. Previous targets, including Ralf Rangnick and Krosche, have not come to fruition. The club must now explore alternative solutions to strengthen their leadership.
One name that has resurfaced in the conversation is Devin Ozek, a young German-Turkish director. Ozek has experience working with Bayer Leverkusen, where he contributed to a winning cycle, and Fenerbahce. Although his stint with Fenerbahce was not particularly successful, he remains a credible candidate for Milan's future.
The Rossoneri are in need of a new director to help shape their strategy and drive success. With several options being considered, the club will look to make a decision that will benefit their long-term goals.
