AC Milan's new coach, Ruben Amorim, has been making waves at the club's training ground in Milanello. He has introduced a precise daily routine for the players, which includes a single morning training session. The team must arrive by 8:30 am for a group breakfast, which is considered crucial by the technical staff to foster team cohesion.
Amorim's approach on the pitch has been characterized by a clear line of communication and a 3-4-2-1 formation. He emphasizes ball circulation and uses the ball in every exercise, encouraging the team to start again from defense if a drill doesn't succeed. The coach has also been working on pressure mechanisms, which are a key part of his project.
According to Luca Bianchin, Amorim wants to establish a familiar yet direct and sincere relationship with the players. He has told them that they can come to him for anything and that he will defend them if they are right. The coach has also shown interest in giving young players a chance, as Massimiliano Allegri did with Davide Bartesaghi.
It remains to be seen if Amorim's approach will lead to success for AC Milan, but one thing is certain - the team will be different under his leadership.
