Marco Amelia, former Milan goalkeeper, spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport about the Rossoneri's prospects. For history, prestige and tradition, Milan cannot set limits. Amelia promoted the moves made by the Rossoneri management, but identified the true key to success in the existing core. 'For tradition and history, Milan must aim for the scudetto. I follow them from a distance because I'm now training Hamrun Spartans, a top-tier Maltese club, but the new signings seem strong: if Ramos and Gila integrate into the group, they will give a good hand to the Devil. The difference, however, must be made mainly by the desire for revenge of those who were there in recent years and have had few satisfactions.'

Milan, parla Amelia: 'Lotta al tricolore più equilibrata'

Looking beyond Milanello, Amelia also spoke about Serie A, which is leveled upwards, where not even the current champions can afford to take jumps: 'I see the fight for the tricolor as even more balanced than in the past and even Inter, the current champion, will have difficulties in confirming themselves: there are five or six formations that can fight for the first place and in this final market they will do everything to reinforce themselves further.'
