Just a few days before the summer transfer window closes, Milan still has several outgoing operations to define. After the departures of Christopher Nkunku and Samuele Ricci, there are three players whose future is still uncertain. During the press conference on the eve of the match against Venezia, Amorim made it clear about the treatment that will be given to the so-called "surplus" players.

The hard punch on the surplus players

The French midfielder has some requests from the Premier League, but Milan is asking at least 20-25 million euros to release him. A different story for Tomori, who could end up at the centre of a swap with Juventus. Negotiations with Porto for Gimenez continue, although there is still a gap between the parties.

Milan, Amorim on the surplus players in press conference

The coach's decision was to separate the surplus players from the rest of the group, forcing them to train apart. The players considered out of the technical project did not take part in the away match against Torino and will not be called up for the match against Venezia either. As explained by Amorim, the treatment will be the same even if they are not sold.
