Lazio-Milan 2-2: Top and Flop rossoneri, the match ratings at the Olimpico
Yesterday the fourth match of Amorim's Milan took place: this time the opponent was Lazio coached by Gennaro Gattuso, former player and Milan coach. To resolve a rather tricky match, given that the rossoneri were down by two goals, the changes made at halftime by the Portuguese manager helped.
Milan, the changes solve the match
The match completely changed its face, and the rossoneri managed to come back to 2-2 thanks to the substitutes, again. The Portuguese coach, for now, will have to keep questioning why the initial lineup struggles, not dominating the game.
Many choices such as, for example, those of Estupinan and Loftus-Cheek, are quite inexplicable, precisely because they were not made out of numerical necessity, but out of a mindset. The goal, starting from the 16th against Benfica, is to find the right balance.
Amorim spoke of time to win, perhaps a paradox that encapsulates the Devil's situation: for the project started last July a lot of time and patience is needed, but the team and especially the coach must earn it.
