On the occasion of the 31st edition of the Gentleman Awards 2025/2026, Davide Bartesaghi gave an update on his personal moment and on Milan’s season. The young red, fresh from the positive experience with the Under‑21 national team coached by Silvio Baldini, spoke to the journalists present about the imminent restart of the league, the team’s growth and his relationship with Ruben Amorim.

HOW IS HE EXPERIENCING THIS MOMENT OF THE SEASON?, “The confidence is great, I have always felt it and tomorrow we will meet after this long break and we will do our best to prepare well for the Sassuolo challenge. We have our confidence and we try to think about ourselves, not about other teams…”.

WHERE DOES HE SEE HIMSELF BEST ON THE FIELD AND WHAT ARE MILAN’S GROWTH AREAS?, “I feel comfortable playing in a four‑man system or even higher, I have no preferences. To improve we will have to raise the bar, sometimes we have a bit of difficulty but all this is part of a process, it is normal. It is always our moment for us young players, the U21 national team is proof that this movement is doing well”.

WHAT IS HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH AMORIM AND WHICH NEW TEAMMATES IMPRESSED HIM THE MOST?, “I love Amorim, he is a great coach, he talks to me often and I feel good. I congratulate Ramos for his goals in the national team, but also everyone else. Who impressed me the most? Gila, because he is a versatile defender and also Hutchinson who is really technically good and also in tight spaces”.
