The paths of Milan and Ismael Bennacer have definitively separated. The club on Via Aldo Rossi and the Algerian midfielder born in 1997 had reached, in recent weeks, an agreement for the consensual termination of the contract, putting an end to a love story that began in the summer of 2019 with the player's arrival from Empoli.

If the termination with Milan is now a done deal, the midfielder's future has taken a rather unexpected turn. It seemed indeed everything was set and ready for his move to Qatar, with a verbal agreement reached with Al-Gharafa. However, the negotiation with the club fell dramatically apart and his transfer did not materialise.
