AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze is poised to get another chance to prove himself at the club under the guidance of new coach Ruben Amorim. Chukwueze, who spent last season on loan at Fulham, had an underwhelming stint at Milan before his move. Amorim, who has never worked with Chukwueze before, seems keen on integrating him into his team.
Chukwueze's potential role in Amorim's system is already generating interest. As a left-footed winger who typically plays on the right, his ability to take on opponents and cut inside onto his preferred foot makes him a good fit for a 3-4-2-1 formation. Amorim has expressed admiration for Chukwueze's qualities, suggesting he could play in various positions, including as an attacking midfielder on the right.
The Nigerian winger's chance at redemption will be closely watched, especially given his €28m arrival at Milan. In 70 appearances for the Rossoneri, he scored eight goals and provided six assists. At Fulham, he made 23 Premier League appearances, scoring three goals and adding four assists.
Amorim's faith in Chukwueze could pay off, providing the winger can adapt to his new coach's tactics and make a positive impact on the pitch.
