The Lazio vs Milan clash also provided an important moment for Omari Hutchinson. In the final minutes of the match at the Olimpico, which ended 2-2 after the Rossoneri comeback, Ruben Amorim gave the new signing from Nottingham Forest his first official minutes in a Milan shirt, inserting him for Cissè.
The debut was awaited for the Anglo-Jamaican talent, who arrived in the last days of the market to complete the attacking department and offer a new solution on the right wing.
Milan, Hutchinson enters the right wing against Lazio
Hutchinson was brought on by Amorim in the closing stages, taking a position on the right wing behind Gonçalo Ramos and supporting Samuel Chukwueze on the flank.
It gave a first taste of the role the Portuguese coach envisions for him in his system: a player able to move between the lines, create superiority in one‑on‑one situations and add unpredictability to the offensive phase.
The former Nottingham Forest player will now have the task of gradually integrating into the Rossoneri mechanisms and increasing his minutes in the coming weeks.
Hutchinson celebrates his Milan debut on social media
At the end of the match against Lazio, Hutchinson wanted to share his satisfaction on social media.
The forward posted on Instagram several images of his debut at the Stadio Olimpico, accompanied by a short message: "Very happy to have made my debut, what a feeling!"
It is a first step for the 2003‑born, called to inherit part of the offensive legacy left by Rafael Leão and to earn space in Amorim’s rotations.
