Milan are looking to the future of their midfield and, among the profiles being followed, 23‑year‑old Alex Scott, a young talent from Bournemouth, would also appear. Carlo Pellegatti discussed this on his YouTube channel, highlighting that the 2003‑born player has come under the scrutiny of Milan scouts.
Milan, Pellegatti on Scott
Scott, 23, is a versatile midfielder capable of operating both in front of the defence and in a much more advanced position. So far this season he has already made five starts and has also scored a goal. However, Milan’s interest does not appear to be linked to the January window.
Scott would represent an idea for the future of Milan’s midfield, as initially stated, but the club faces very strong competition: Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are reported to have already shown interest in the player.
In the Premier League with Bournemouth’s red shirt, Scott plays in a 4‑2‑3‑1 system in front of the defence. In the formation used by Amorim, he could instead fill Luka Modrić’s current role. In addition to the competition, a major obstacle is the valuation, which is said to be around €88 million.
