Milan continues to evaluate a major defensive signing and among the names that most intrigue the Rossoneri management is Gonçalo Inacio.
The Portuguese centre‑back of Sporting is indeed one of the most appreciated profiles to complete the back line and could become the main target in the final phase of the market.
The club is reflecting on the possibility of launching a pursuit of the player, aware however of the financial difficulties of the operation. Inacio has an important valuation and to acquire the defender Milan should first complete some sales, especially in the rear positions. The possible departure of Fikayo Tomori could indeed free up space and resources to reinvest.
For Ruben Amorim it would also be a particularly welcome purchase, considering the direct knowledge of the player gained during his experience at Sporting. Milan therefore watches and evaluates: the pursuit of Inacio has not yet started, but the Portuguese’s name remains one of the main ideas to strengthen the defence.
