First seasonal defeat for Milan Futuro. In the second matchday of Serie D Group B, Sergio Navarro's side lost 2-0 away at Palazzolo, with two goals in the first half scored by Nespoli and Persano.

A negative result for the rossoneri, who however showed an important reaction in the second half without managing to find the net to reopen the contest.

Milan Futuro, Palazzolo strikes twice in the first half

Milan Futuro started the game well but failed to convert their initiative. In the 17th minute Palazzolo took the lead through Nespoli, who took advantage of a cross from the wing and beat Pittarella.

Navarro's team tried to respond, but six minutes later the hosts doubled their lead: in the 23rd minute Persano made it 2-0 from a Mattioli assist.

The rossoneri tried to lift their heads and at the end of the first half became dangerous with Ossola, who shot from the edge but did not find the goal.

Milan Futuro, pressure grows in the second half

In the second half Milan Futuro increased the tempo and tried to create chances especially thanks to the entry of the new substitutes.

Asanji was among the most active and sought a finish on two occasions, while at the end Ossola brushed the goal first with a header and then with a left-footed shot from the edge, meeting the response of opponent goalkeeper Ilic.

The reaction was not enough: Palazzolo defended the double lead and secured the three points.

Milan Futuro, now two matches in a few days

With the defeat archived, the rossoneri are already called to turn the page. Navarro's side will face Brusaporto on Wednesday at 18.00 at Chinetti, while on Sunday at 15.00 they will be engaged at Villa Valle.
