The recent break for the national teams has left many minutes on the legs of Milan players. The Rossoneri club therefore sits in first place in the special ranking among Serie A big clubs, pulling ahead with 2,625 total minutes played by its players with their respective national teams. Behind the Milan club are Inter with 2,352 minutes and Napoli with 2,094 minutes.
Analyzing the individual elements of the squad, the workhorse performance of Ardon Jashari stands out, the most used overall with a total of 295 minutes on the field. Immediately behind are defender Strahinja Pavlovic and forward Gonçalo Ramos, both reaching 275 minutes. It is also worth noting the incredible athletic stamina of Croatian playmaker Luka Modric, able to record 207 minutes with his national team despite being 41 years old.
Amorim's assessments on rotations and managing the forces
These data represent a crucial variable that coach Ruben Amorim will have to manage with great attention ahead of the return to play. The extremely tight calendar will see Milan engaged on a close double front, divided between Serie A challenges and commitments in the Europa League group stage.
At the same time, the pause for the national teams has offered a positive side effect for the second lines: the international matches have allowed several players less used at this start of the season to accumulate match rhythm and valuable minutes, giving Amorim a squad with greater quality alternatives ahead of the autumn tour de force.
