The season is in full swing, but the Rossoneri transfer market always thinks about the future. After the definitive departure of Rafael Leao, who left Milan to join Galatasaray at the end of a seven‑year spell, the Milan hierarchy is working to find the right successor on the left wing. Ahead of the summer transfer window, among the profiles closely monitored by Milan stands out a young French player owned by Eintracht Frankfurt.

Besides Milan, the player has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton, not forgetting the sirens of Fenerbahçe and recent inquiries from Roma under Gasperini.
The operation to bring the winger to Milan next summer looks set to be very demanding, both in terms of competition and financially. Bought by the Germans in January 2024 from Angers for about €8 million, his price tag has quickly risen to €25‑30 million, the amount the club is demanding for a permanent transfer.
Despite his young age, Bahoya’s profile has already shown very important qualities, confirmed by his performances with France’s youth teams: the youngster has collected five under‑21 caps with two goals.
But what are his characteristics?
In Ruben Amorim’s Milan he would represent the ideal solution to inherit the legacy left by Rafa Leao after seven long years. The Frenchman would also bring unpredictability, ability to burst forward and danger in transitions, giving Amorim the aggression and speed needed to develop a dynamic attack, exactly as his style of play requires.
