The club from via Aldo Rossi has earmarked January in red to make a ninety‑million move in defence, re‑establishing contacts for an old target: Gonçalo Inacio.

The Portuguese centre‑back of Sporting Lisbon was already very close to wearing the red‑black shirt last summer, but the deal fell through solely because of the tight timing in the final hours of negotiations.
