Great news arrive for Milan and Inter: at the end of October the two clubs will show the rendering of the stadium.

The new San Siro stadium is taking shape. While the two Milan clubs, Inter and Milan, continue the process for its construction, an important update arrives: according to Corriere della Sera, the rendering of the new facility should be presented by the end of October.

The project, entrusted to Foster+Partners and Manica, follows the footsteps of the new Wembley in London. The new facility, in fact, should retain some elements of the current San Siro, although it will be placed in a completely renewed context. The goal of the two Milan clubs is to break ground in the second half of 2027, with the stadium completed by 2030-2031.

In the meantime, some figures related to the financial side have emerged. According to Corriere, the total value of the new facility could reach 2.149 billion euros. The project will include, besides the arena, offices, structures and commercial spaces.

The process is still very long, but the aim is to complete the procedure by the summer of 2027, so as to proceed with the previously established programme. Meanwhile, some small interventions have already started in the San Siro area.

In June the historic south ticket office, one of those used during the 1990 World Cup held in Italy, was demolished. The most important moment, however, will come at the end of October: what will the new San Siro look like?
