Last night, Strahinja Pavlovic won the award for the best AC Milan goal of 2025/26 and he answered a few questions on stage.
Pavlovic’s goal last season meant little in the long run, unfortunately. A great strike from at least 30 yards secured a 3-2 win against Torino in a vital moment and hopefully it would lead Milan to a Champions League return.

However, the Rossoneri collapsed and the hope of returning to Europe’s premier competition fell. It led to wholesale changes and there were suggestions that Pavlovic could be sold, with plenty of interest around him. Yet he remained.
So far, Ruben Amorim has used him whenever possible and he’s remained one of the first names on the teamsheet. It looks unlikely to change moving forward, too.
Pavlovic’s words at Award night
Speaking at the Gentleman Fair Play Award night, held at the Scuola Militare Teuliè di Milano, Pavlovic was given the award for the best Diavolo goal of last season and MilanVibes has relayed his words after collecting it.
"We have a great relationship with the coach. After last year’s goal [the one for which he won the award] and the assist I made for Christian Pulisic in the last match, maybe I should go talk to him and ask him to let me play further forward. "Ramos did very well with the national team; we hope he continues with us, but the goals, his and ours, will come."
