The harsh comment from the journalist on his YouTube channel after Milan's draw away at Juventus
The draw secured by Milan on Juventus' ground does not convince Fabio Ravezzani at all. The well‑known journalist, appearing on his YouTube channel to analyse the performance of the team coached by Ruben Amorim, used very harsh words to describe the difficulties shown on the pitch by the Rossoneri, highlighting how the summer promises of dominant and sparkling football are still far from the reality on the field.
The ruthless data from the scout and the difficulties in the playing mechanisms
During his analysis, Ravezzani focused on the ruthless numbers of the match, pointing out the clear superiority of the Bianconeri and the extremely deficient offensive performance of the Milan side.
"For me Milan was worrying, in some ways it was humiliated in the game," the journalist began his intervention. "What was said at the start of the season, when a coach and the owners arrive saying ‘We will play sparkling, dominant football, we will be the ones commanding the field’, then you have to follow up on those promises. If we look at the match scout, Milan shot only three times at Vicario’s goal: one shot on target (which was a goal), one shot off target and one saved shot. Juventus shot 14 times on target. Consider that the expected goals for Juventus were 1.56, while for Milan they were 0.09: I think this is the worst data in Milan’s recent history."
The director then responded to the justifications linked to the time needed for the new technical project:
"Now, Amorim has a nice line that we are only a month into work and that time is needed; but even after a month of work you should see a slightly more eager team, especially a team that has tested mechanisms. Instead Milan changes players, changes mechanisms and in the end everyone seems a little disoriented."
