AC Milan have another potential star on their hands in the form of young defender Valeri Valdimirov, with the youngster impressing internationally now.

The current Futuro set-up has plenty of interesting players for the future and Vladimirov is one of the highlights. He’s already got the faith of the management and it may not be too long until he’s got everyone’s attention.

Vladimirov’s rise

Labelled the ‘jewel of the future’ he represents ‘one of the most exciting prospects in the Rossoneri’s entire set-up’, as PianetaMilan writes. He’s a regular in Ruben Amorim’s training sessions and he’s getting first team minutes with the Futuro.

It’s a best-of-both-worlds situation and it’s clearly paying off. Already he’s convinced the club to give him a renewal until 2029 and he’s considered a valuable asset for the future.

If that wasn’t enough, he’s impressing internationally as well. In their game against Portugal, the Bulgaria Under-21s won 2-1, with Valdimirov coming off the bench in the second half. He led the defence and averted any threat, to the point where he could be considered a starter moving forward.

His rise is gradual currently, but he’s only heading one way. Perhaps some first team minutes could be on the horizon soon.
