Interviewed by the microphones of Tuttosport, the former Rossonero Zambrotta spoke about Milan.

Former Milan right‑back Gianluca Zambrotta outlined the picture of the title race of the new Milan project through Tuttosport’s columns. A lucid analysis that places Serie A hierarchies at the centre, without sparing compliments for the new strategy undertaken by the Rossoneri management.

Milan, Zambrotta on the Rossoneri

"As Allegri said, the team to beat has the Scudetto on its chest. Inter has a clear identity and is the best equipped".

If the Nerazzurri start ahead of everyone in continuity, structure and squad depth, Milan is the side that has shown the most dynamism to try to close the gap to the top. When asked who has moved better to shorten the gap, Zambrotta highlighted the change of course:

"Who has changed the most has been Milan. One day is not enough, but even at the level of approach something new has been seen".

Framing all this is also Ruben Amorim’s courage to bring out fresh new forces. The former Rossonero, in fact, also said a few words about the young Alphadjo Cissé, who emerged both in the pre‑season and in the official debut against Torino:

"He played a splendid match. The young, the good ones, must be given playing time: welcome boys like Cissé or Liberali".
