Things had gone quiet on the Samuele Ricci front in recent weeks, but it seems that an exit is still very much on the cards.
It is only last summer that Ricci was one of the most talked about players within Serie A as he made the switch from Torino, where he had become the club captain, to join Massimiliano Allegri and Igli Tare’s new era at Milan.

Fast-forwarding to the present day, everything had changed. Allegri and Tare have left to make way for Ruben Amorim and a ‘new’ management composed of internal promotions for figures such as Hendrik Almstadt and Bobby Gardiner.
Ricci ‘on the way out’
Ricci’s future came into question as part of these changes, with Como the most serious suitor . Things went silent for a few days, but in a video posted on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, Matteo Moretto gave us an update.
"Ricci is a player who is still on the way out of Milan, but as of today it is not yet 100% done with Como. The contracts between the parties are continuing, they are positive contacts," he said (via MilanNews ).
"As soon as there is a complete definition of the deal we will let you know, but in short the contacts are continuing."
Financially, to avoid a capital loss, Milan must not sell the midfielder for less than €17m. In fact, from what’s filtering through, Como seems more inclined to pursue a loan deal.
