AC Milan are almost at panic stations already, with injuries already taking a toll on the squad. So much so that they may make a move in January.

It had already been suggested in recent weeks, but a move for Alejandro Balde is looking more attractive to Milan after the past week of news from the international players. So much so that they could pounce ahead of the mercato.

Balde idea rising

With the news of Saelemaekers, and even the worries about Estupinan, Calciomercato.com reports that Balde’s name is coming back into fashion.

Indeed, the international break has had something of a bitter end and there are already worries about the next few weeks and beyond. So, the thoughts are already on the January mercato and finding a solution.

Balde has been out of the Barcelona squad in recent months and it’s very possible that he leaves Spain in the winter window.

Jorge Mendes has already proposed the idea to the Rossoneri, but his €40 million price tag made it impossible. It could be revisited in January, though, on more favourable terms.

Juventus and Manchester United are also considering a move for the wing-back, so it won’t be a straightforward situation. In addition to this, other considerations about the current squad have to be made. Nevertheless, it’s an idea and it could grow in favourability.
