At Milan, the search for a new executive figure to manage the sporting department continues. The club on Via Aldo Rossi intends to add a high-level Head of Football to the organization, capable of acting as a link between the technical area, the ownership represented by Gerry Cardinale and coach Ruben Amorim.

The executive casting: Krösche in pole position, alternatives emerge

The name at the top of the Rossoneri management's preferences is Markus Krösche, current executive of Eintracht Frankfurt. Despite a contract that binds him to the German club until 2028, the German manager's profile is considered potentially releasable. Alongside him, to complete the restructuring of the sporting area, his right-hand man Timmo Hardung could also arrive in Milan.

The alternative options instead point to two profiles that know international football and Serie A well: Tiago Pinto, current Head of Football of Bournemouth with a past as general director of Roma, and Medhi Benatia, fresh from experience as an executive of Olympique Marseille and currently free of contractual ties.
