During the match between the two teams, Federico Zancan analyzes the Rossoneri formation. While the prestige test against Manchester United has already started on the field, in Casa Milan the choices of the starting eleven continue to be discussed. During the pre-match on Sky Sport, journalist Federico Zancan expressed several concerns about the stability of the formation a week before the start of Serie A, highlighting how the team presents itself at this appointment still in full construction phase.

Milan, Zancan's words

Despite the last summer outing serving to test the starting eleven, the technical decisions have turned to very different solutions, also due to a transfer market session that is not yet fully completed. 'Fairly experimental formation and usually in the last friendly you try the starting formation. Of course, in Milan there is still a work in progress sign for which, probably, there is a bit of delay. Then there is also time to remedy thanks to the market.' Among the experiments re-proposed from the first minute, not all the answers have been exciting. This is the case of Chukwueze, re-proposed again in the role of outside player on the whole band but so far lacking the hoped-for continuity. Zancan's analysis then expanded to the overall path taken during the summer: 'Today there are experiments, some already tested in previous friendlies like Chukuweze on the whole band which so far has not given great answers. I, for how it went with the Goncalo Ramos and Gila operations, imagined a Milan further ahead by mid-August compared to today's reality'
