Lazio Milan will be played next Saturday at the Stadio Olimpico, Milan fans are sending clear jabs on social media!

There is not even time to file away Juventus-Milan before fans are already thinking about the next league round. Saturday 12 September at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome Lazio-Milan will be played, a match in which the Devil will seek victory and will also meet an old acquaintance, Gennaro Gattuso.

At the moment the focus, however, is on the environment that Ruben Amorim's boys will find in the capital. In fact Lazio fans are protesting against the club and are deserting the Olimpico. Only 4,000 season ticket holders, in the home first match there were about 7,000 spectators.

The protest, which started in the second half of last season, had been paused on very few occasions, one of them against Milan. In the statement of the organised white‑blue fans there was no reference to the red‑blacks, only the desire to send a signal of solidarity to the players and Sarri.

That day the Olimpico was a swamp that contributed to the success of its own team, a 1‑0 win scored by Gustav Isaksen. A defeat that for Massimiliano Allegri's side meant losing the points earned against Inter in the derby.

Today Milan fans on X mock the situation by posting photos of full stadiums and fiery curves writing: "Ah there's Lazio-Milan. We are already preparing".
