Sabatini criticized Ibrahimovic after the Milan player posted a photo of himself grilling meat on social media following the team's 3-0 loss to Chelsea.
The photo was published shortly after the friendly match in Jakarta, with Ibrahimovic accompanying the post with the phrase 'Wild Chef'. This publication generated criticism, especially for the timing, coming immediately after a heavy defeat for the team. Journalist Sandro Sabatini intervened on the topic through his YouTube channel.
Sabatini said: 'Ibrahimovic instead of watching Milan started grilling on August 8. This photo came out right after Milan's result against Chelsea, 3-0: Ibra was grilling. I'm a fan of Ibrahimovic because honestly, he doesn't care, he makes a nice grill, makes a video, and gets a lot of likes. He's happy, everyone's happy: but Milan fans are unhappy.'
Sabatini's words have reignited the debate on Ibrahimovic's role in the Rossoneri project and the perception of his actions by the fans. Meanwhile, Milan is called to focus on the next decisions regarding the team and Ruben Amorim's work after the summer tour.
