Santiago Gimenez is a new player of Porto. With a statement, Milan announced the official transfer of the Mexican.

Now it is official: Santiago Gimenez leaves Milan and transfers to Porto. The Mexican striker will start a new adventure in Portugal with the team coached by Francesco Farioli, after the agreement reached between the two clubs in the past hours.

The red and black club announced the loan until 30 June 2027, with an option to acquire the player permanently that may become an obligation upon meeting certain conditions.

Arriving at Milan with great expectations, Gimenez was never considered central to the project by Ruben Amorim. The club therefore chose to allow the Mexican striker to restart in a new reality, freeing up space in the squad to complete the still open market operations.
