One of the signings that has most surprised Milan fans has undoubtedly been Diego Moreira, who arrived from Strasbourg in the last transfer window. Knowing that the fixed part is €51.28 million, how much did it cost the Rossoneri in total?

A part of the bonuses is linked to individual performance: if the Belgian reaches 10 goals or assists in a season, the Rossoneri will have to pay Strasbourg €2.05 million. However, there is also a bonus of €1.02 million if the player reaches 15 starts, with a minimum of 45 minutes played. This clause, however, can be triggered only twice, for a total of €5.12 million. In case of a contract renewal, Milan will have to pay another €2.05 million, for a maximum of two total renewals.

The maximum ceiling, however, has been set at €14.36 million. Adding this amount to the €51.28 million fixed part and the €2.05 million bonuses for goals and assists, the total approaches €68 million.

In the agreement, a clause related to a possible future resale was also included. The percentage that would go to the French club varies based on the sale price, but can reach up to 25% of the amount exceeding €100 million.
