As revealed by Luca Bianchin, the last hours have been characterised by continuous tight contacts from Aston Villa management and the player's entourage, a move that has slowed the acceleration of Galatasaray which until yesterday seemed to be in pole position.

The English have presented an offer for the registration above that of the Turks, but the sticking point remains the salary: the latest bid stops at 6.5 million euros per season, a very important figure for the English club's finances which is now considering a final economic effort.

The Istanbul club, on the other hand, has put on the table a showcase offer of 12 million euros per season. Despite the very tempting proposal, Leão has never given definitive approval. The salary gap between the two options remains more than clear, but the temptation to compete in one of the most competitive leagues in the world could make the difference, the next hours will be very hot.
