This summer, AC Milan have already been quite busy. However, they will not stop just yet, with more deals expected in the final days of the mercato.

Late last night, Milan agreed a deal to sign Omari Hutchinson from Nottingham Forest, which could be the No.10 signing that Ruben Amorim has hoped for all summer. However, that was not the only deal agreed.

Indeed, Santiago Gimenez will join Rafael Leao in departing, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that a deal had been agreed with Porto. Yet that wasn’t it, with Youssouf Fofana also rumoured to be heading away.

Hutchinson only the first

Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) writes that the Englishman’s arrival may only be the first ‘in a series of last-minute deals’. Originally, he would’ve joined in a swap deal with Fofana, but it won’t materialise that way.

The signing gives Amorim a more natural left-footed number 10, which is huge. It means Adrien Rabiot may be able to play deeper, whilst Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Alphadjo Cisse may not be relied upon with Christian Pulisic also returning.

There are three days until the end of the mercato and there are still five deals that could be done. A central defender is the next goal with an attacking midfielder brought in, Fikayo Tomori and Fofana’s future will be looked at on the outgoing front.
