The main focus of the Via Aldo Rossi management is on the left flank: the Ecuadorian winger Pervis Estupiñán is not fully convincing the Portuguese coach, prompting the club to look for an internationally experienced profile across the whole width. The hot name, bounced directly from Germany, is Daniel Svensson, a Swedish gem owned by Borussia Dortmund.

The operation is nevertheless expected to be complex and decidedly costly from a financial point of view. Borussia Dortmund values the Scandinavian player's registration in a range between 35 and 45 million euros. A significant amount, justified both by the youngster's performance and his contractual situation, given that Svensson is tied to the yellow-and-blacks by a long‑term agreement valid until 30 June 2029.
