Milan Primavera were forced to settle for a draw with Cesena on Sunday, though they did come from behind to secure it.

Last weekend, the Primavera edged a five-goal thriller 3-2 against Torino. Dotta was the man who scored a 92nd-minute winner for Giovanni Renna's side, who had twice led and been pegged back by the Granata, while they were also down to 10 men by the time the winning goal went in.

The game yesterday got off to a lively start, with chances for Milan and Michieletto having an effort cleared off the line in the fourth minute. After the tempo had dropped a bit, Cesena opened the scoring in the 18th minute a bit out of nowhere, with Amadori heading in from a corner.

However, Giovanni Renna's side responded immediately as Nolli fired home with his right foot after Grassini's lay-off to make it 1-1 in the 20th minute. Nolli came close again with a volley before the break, then Grassini drew a quick reaction stop too, and Domnitei threatened from a free-kick also.

Cesena came close on the hour mark as Tonti's close-range shot went over the bar, while at the other end Milan struggled to break through a well-organised defence, so they were ultimately forced to settle for a point.

Now the Rossoneri's focus turns to the next fixture on Sunday 6 September at 11:00 CEST, which will be against Juventus at the PUMA House of Football.
